Teething flower necklace *free pattern*

Hi! I hope you're having a great week start....One of my best friends is comming back after 4 months of being away...she is from the Canary Islands and went back home to give birth to her first baby. Now she's comming back and I'm finally meeting her lovely daughter in person. I'm so excited to see my friend again and the lovely little girl that has arrived! I made them a teething necklace to welcome them.

Espero que estén teniendo un buen inicio de semana....Una de mis mejores amigas está por regresar después de 4 meses de estar lejos...ella es de las Islas Canarias y se fue a casa para dar a luz a su primera bebé. Ahora viene de regreso y por fin voy a conocer a su hermosa hija en persona. ¡Estoy muy emocionada de ver a mi amiga otra vez y a la lindurita de niña que acaba de llegar! Les hice un collar para  morder (teething necklace, no se cómo se traduce), para darles la bienvenida.

Do you like it? I like that it is so simple and playful...I've prepared you the flower pattern for you, the flowers are small as you can see....

¿Les gusta? A mí lo que me gusta es que es sencillo pero divertido...Les preparé el patrón de la flor. Las flores son chicas como pueden ver...

Once I crocheted the 8 flowers I simply joined them with a chain....and made some knots at the ends....you can attach as many flowers as you wish in order to make a larger necklace. So, here's the pattern.

Una vez que tejí las 8 flores simplemente las uní con una cadena...E hice un par de nudos con el ganchillo en los finales....pueden añadir todas las flores que quieran para hacer un collar más largo. Bueno, aquí está el patrón.

*US TERMS**

Abbreviations: 

ch - chain

sc - single crochet

dc - double crochet

slp st - slip stitch

2 dc tog- two double crochets together (here's a video on how to do this)

Using color 1 make 4 ch, join with slp st into a ring.

Round 1: With same color, 1 ch, 4 sc in ring, join with slp st.

Round 2: Continue with color 2. 1 ch, 2 sc in ch below, 3 sc in each of next stitches, slp st with color 3 in 1st ch.

Round 3: Continue with color 3. [2ch, 2 dc tog in next 2 stitches, 2 ch, slp st in next stitch] x 5. To end slp st into slp st of previous round.

Abreviaturas:

c - cadena

mp - medio punto

pl - pilar (vareta o punto alto)

2 pl jun - dos pilares juntos (aquí hay un video donde muestran cómo hacerlos)

p desl - punto deslizado (o punto enano)

Usando el color 1 hacer 4 c, unir con p desl a 1er c para hacer un anillo.
1era vuelta: Con el mismo color, 1 c, 4mp en anillo, unir con p desl.
2da vuelta: Continuar con color 2. 1 c, 2 mp en la cadena debajo, 3 mp en cada uno de los puntos siguientes, unir con color 3 a 1er c con p desl.
3era vuelta: Continuar con colo 3. [2 c, 2 pl jun en los 2 puntos siguientes, 2 c, p desl en siguiente punto]
x 5
Para cerrar p desl en el p desl de la vuelta anterior.

Les preparé un patrón para disfrutar nuestros últimos momentos de este verano....El "motivo sol", o "carpetita sol", perfecta como apliqué.

Hello my friends! Well, my sunny days are about to end as I leave on Tuesday to Mexico City and then back to Oaxaca. I'm enjoying my last couple of days in the caribbean seashore a lot! I've prepared a pattern for you, to enjoy our last moments of this summer....The sun doily, perfect as apliqué.

Abreviaturas:

c - cadena

mp - medio punto

pl - pilar (vareta o punto alto)

2 pl jun - dos pilares juntos (aquí hay un video donde muestran cómo hacerlos)

p desl - punto deslizado (o punto enano)

1era vuelta: hacer anillo mágico con 12 mp. (aquí hay un video de como hacer un anillo mágico), p desl en 1er mp.

2da vuelta: 3 c, 1 pl en el mismo lugar (cuentan como 2 pl jun). [3c, 2 pl jun en mp siguiente] x 11. 3 c, p desl en 3er cadena de primeras 3 c.

3era vuelta: p desl en en 2 c siguientes, 1c, 1 mp en el mismo lugar. [4c, 1 mp en arco de 3c siguientes] x 11. 4 c, p desl en 1er mp.

4ta vuelta: 1c, *[2mp, 3c, 2mp] todo en arco de 4 cadenas siguiente. ; repetir desde * 11 veces, p desl en 1er medio punto. Rematar.

The Free Granny Poncho Pattern

Así que sólo por esto les presento el ¡PATRÓN DEL GRANNY PONCHO! Lo prometido es deuda. Verán, normalmente estoy acostumbrada a leer patrones en inglés así que me es natural escribirlos en ese idioma; me ha llevado un montón de tiempo traducirlo al español, espero que se entienda... La versión en español está hasta abajo....

Hello lovely people! I'm in an excelent mood, this week has been going on ace and we had such a wonderful weekend in the Wonders Market!!! So, for this I now present you THE GRANNY PONCHO PATTERN as promised!!

Unfortunately, I didn't have time to reproduce it and make a phototutorial, but I just wanted to share it, so it'll have to be a written pattern. Let's get going...

** US terms**

Abbreviations 

st--stitch

ch--chain

slst--slip stitch

dc--double crochet

dcdec--double crochet decrease. (this is when you do 1 double crochet into 2 stitches; you can watch a video on this here: Ivisible Crochet Decrease) 

Pattern

Round 1: Chain a multiple of 3 -1 and join with a slst into 1st ch.

          (I think for this one I made 89 chains, but it'll depend on the size of your shoulders.)

Round 2: Ch 3 (counts as 1 dc), make dc into all ch of previous round, then join with slst to 3rd beginning chain.

Round 3: Ch 3 (counts as 1 dc), 2 dc into same st, ch 1, skip 2 st, 3 dc into next st (cluster),ch 1, skip 2 st, 3dc into next st, ch1, .....and so on till you complete the round. Join with slst to 3rd beginning ch.

(Change color) 

Round 4: ch 3 into 1 ch space of prev. round. Then 2dc into same space, ch 1, then make a cluster (3dc) into next 1 ch space, ch1, cluster into next ch space, ch1, and repeat untill you complete the round. Join with slst.

Round 5: Change to your first color. Repeat Round 4.

Round 6: With same color, repeat Round 4.

Round 7: Change to your second color. Repeat Round 4.

( you'll be doing 2 rounds with one color, 1 round with the other) 

(in mine: 2 rounds with  purple, 1 round with lilac.)

Continue until you get the desired lenght. For mine I made till round 21.

You might have noticed that your first row is tighter than the rest, this will be the upper part of the poncho. You can stop here if you like it so far and it fits your shoulders, but for mine I did 2 rows of double crochet decreases as closure. 

Now, here comes the wierd part. This is how I figured it out but feel free to try something different, and if it works please share it! :)

So, we will turn our work arround and start working in the first round again. As you can see, you only have 1 remaining loop for each chain, we will refer to this loop as a stitch for the next round, ok?

Closure:

Round 1: Change to your second color (lilac in mine), ch3 into first st (counts as 1 dc). Dc into next 4 st, 1 dcdec (Here's the video again: Ivisible Crochet Decrease) . Dc into next 5 st, 1 dcdec, dc into next 5 st, 1 dcdec, and so on untill the end of round. Join with sl st to 3rd beginning chain, and changing your color.

Rond 2: ch3 (counts as 1 dc), dc into next 3 st, 1dcdec. Dc into next 4 st, 1 dcdec, dc ino next 4 st, 1 dcdec, till the end of round, then join with slst.

And........TA DAAAA!!!

Vuelta 2: 3c (cuentan como 1 pl), trabajar 1 pl en todas las c de la vuelta anterior, luego unir con p des a la 3er cadena de inicio.

Vuelta 3:  3 c, (cuentan como 1 pl) , 2 pl en el mismo p. 1 c, saltar 2 p, trabajar 3 pl en el siguiente p (grupo). 1c, saltar 2 p, grupo de 3pl en el siguiente p, 1 c, .....Y así hasta terminar la vuelta. Unir con p des a la 3er cadena de inicio.

(Cambiar color) 

Vuelta 4:  3 c en cualquier espacio de 1 c de la vuelta anterior. Luego 2 pl en el mismo espacio, trabajar 1 c, luego hacer un grupo de 3 pl en el sig espacio de 1c,  trabajar 1c, y repetir hasta completar la vuelta. Unir con p des.

Vuelta 5: Cambiar al primer color. Repetir vuelta 4.

Vuelta 6: Con el mismo color, repetir vuelta 4.

Vuelta 7: Cambiar al segundo color.  Repetir vuelta 4.

( Vas a trabajar 2 vueltas con 1 color y 1 vuelta con otro) 

(En el mío son 2 vueltas con morado y una vuelta con lila.)

Continúa hasta que tengas el largo deseado. En el mío llegué hasta la vuelta número 21.

Puede que hayas notado que tu primera vuelta es más apretada que el resto, ésta va a ser la parte superior del pocho. Puedes parar aquí si te gusta cómo está y si se sostiene bien en tus hombros, pero para el mío hice 2 vueltas más de disminuciones con pilares para cerrar.

Bueno, ahora viene la parte extraña. Así es como se me ocurrió pero siéntete libre de intentar otra cosa si quieres, y si te funciona, compártelo :)

Entonces, vamos a voltear nuestro tejido y vamos a volver a trabajar en la primerita vuelta que hicimos. Como puedes ver, sólo te queda un hilo (o bucle) para cada cadena. Nos vamos a referir a este bucle como punto en la siguiente ronda, ¿ok?

Cierre:

Vuelta 1: Cambia a tu segundo color (lila en el mío). 3c en el primer p (cuenta como 1 pl). Trabajar 1 pl en cada uno de los 4 p siguientes, 1 dism pl (Aquí está otra vez el video de la disminución con pilares: Ivisible Crochet Decrease) . Luego, 1 pl en cada uno de los 5 p sig , 1 dism pl, 1 pl en cada uno de los 5 p sig, 1 dism pl, etc., hasta terminar la vuelta. Unir con p desl a la 3er c de inicio, cambiando de color.

Vuelta 2: .trabajar 3 c (cuenta como 1 pl), 1 pl en cada uno de los 3 p sig, 1dism pl. Después, 1 pl en cada uno de los 4 p sig, 1 dism pl, 1 pl en cada uno de los 4 p sig, 1 dism pl, y así hasta completar la vuelta. Unir con p desl a la 3er cadena de inicio.

Y........¡¡¡TA DAAAA!!!
